Construction Pollutants

Site development of the former cellulose factory
- Conducted supplementary historical and technical investigations, along with planning and implementation of groundwater monitoring.
- Developed a feasibility study and proposed remediation options for mercury contamination stemming from former chlor-alkali electrolysis.

Aftercare of landfills
- Contributed to the creation of a Federal Office for the Environment (FOEN) implementation guide for conducting risk assessments at landfills.
- Performed risk assessments for landfills during preliminary, main, and detailed inspections of reactor and municipal waste compartments, including concept testing.
- Developed potential remediation strategies, with an emphasis on impoundment landfills.
- Provided expert review and feedback on hydraulic and water-related aspects as part of the detailed examination.
