Who we are
We focus on quality. Our environmental toxicology laboratory is one of the few in Switzerland certified for Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and accredited under ISO/IEC 17025. We assist you in generating high-quality, reliable and robust test data for non-clinical safety studies, facilitating registration and approval processes.
What we do
We offer a thorough analysis of the potential toxic effects of your substances, along with their physico-chemical properties. Our environmental toxicologists conduct a wide array of studies on aquatic toxicity and biodegradability according to international OECD test guidelines. Below is an overview of some of our services:
OECD-Tests
- OECD 105: Solubility in water
- OECD 111: Hydrolysis (as a function of pH)
- OECD 107, 117, 123: Distributional coefficient log POW
- OECD 121: Adsorptionskoeffizient log KOC
- DIN 38 414-S9: Chemical Oxygen Demand
- OECD 201: Growth inhibition of green algae
- OECD 201: Growth inhibition of cyanobacteria
- OECD 202: Acute immobilisation in daphnia
- OECD 203: Acute toxicity to fish
- OECD 211: Chronic toxicity to daphnia (reproduction)
- OECD 221: Growth inhibition in duckweed
- OECD 209: Bacterial toxicity
- OECD 301A: DOC Die-Away
- OECD 301B: CO2 Evolution
- OECD 301C: Modified MITI Test I
- OECD 301D: Closed Bottle
- OECD 301F: Manometric Respirometry
- OECD 302B: Zahn-Wellens
- OECD 302C: Modified MITI Test II
- OECD 311: Anaerob degradability
In addition, we cooperate with other institutes to offer further standard test procedures:
- OECD 236: Acute toxicity to fish embryos
- OECD 249: Fish Cell Line Acute Toxicity
- OECD 423: Acute Oral toxicity
- OECD 439: In Vitro Skin Irritation
- OECD 471: In Vitro gene Mutation
The study design can be flexibly adapted to your individual requirements, such as:
- Biodegradability (302B + CO2)
- Biodegradability (CO2 development only)
- Flocculation/Sedimentation
- Sorption an activated carbon
